Junk King Indianapolis Welcomes New Ownership
Local Entrepreneur Launches into Eco-Friendly Junk Removal Service
INDIANAPOLIS – Junk King, the nation’s leading junk removal company—earning nationwide acclaim for its unrivaled customer service and incomparable eco-friendly approach, announced the new ownership of the Indianapolis location with local entrepreneur Elgin Martin.
Launching his ownership in April 2020, Martin took over from longtime operator Michael Barton. Martin is familiar with maintaining leadership roles within different industries, allowing him to bring a broad range of knowledge and aptitude to run the operations at Junk King Indianapolis. Martin’s drive as an entrepreneur has allowed him to acquire the appropriate skill sets unique to each industry, including junk removal.
“I’m looking forward to joining the Junk King Indianapolis team and helping to contribute to the community in a new way,” said Martin. “I know the haulers at Junk King Indianapolis hold a stellar reputation from their impeccable customer service and prompt arrival to jobs, which are qualities I plan to replicate as the owner. I know this level of work will continue and I’m excited to see each team member grow professionally under my management style.”
In addition to the company’s professionalism, eco-friendly recycling and award-winning customer service, businesses and residents alike choose Junk King because of the brand’s state-of-the-art technology systems that allow customers to schedule a pick-up in real time. With the online booking system all it takes is a few clicks and within a matter of minutes Junk King can be scheduled and the job can be completed. In fact, Junk King maintains the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) for any service business in North America, a clear indication of the importance the company places on customer satisfaction.
“Martin has a decorated background as a business operator and we’re excited to have him as the newest owner at Junk King Indianapolis,” said Michael Andreacchi, CEO and co-founder of Junk King Franchise Systems. “His professionalism and capability as a leader will contribute immensely to the brand, along with a fresh outlook to the day to day operations in Indianapolis. His ability to interact and build relationships within the community will be a valuable asset as he joins the Junk King team.”
Unlike the majority of junk removal services, pricing for Junk King is based on the amount of junk removed. The brand’s trucks are 20 percent larger than the industry average, meaning there is no job it cannot handle. Sixty percent of the junk collected is recycled, rather than being dropped at landfills.
